About Fitpass Strength
Fitpass Strength exists because most strength training content online falls into one of two traps: bro-science dressed up as advice, or academic research buried behind paywalls and jargon. We aim for the middle ground — rigorous, cited, and readable.
Our Editorial Process
Every post is written by a credentialed professional — exercise physiologists, certified coaches, sports nutritionists, or rehabilitation physicians. We cite primary sources: peer-reviewed journals, position stands from organizations like the NSCA and ACSM, and original research datasets. When we make a claim, you can trace it back to the evidence.
Who We Write For
We write for lifters who have moved past the beginner phase and want to understand the why behind programming decisions. If you care about the difference between RPE 8 and RPE 9, or why a 2021 meta-analysis changed the optimal weekly set count recommendation, this publication is for you.
Independence
Fitpass Strength is editorially independent. We do not accept sponsored content, and our recommendations are not influenced by supplement companies, equipment brands, or coaching certifications. Our only bias is toward evidence.
